I shout, you shout, we as a whole shout for… simple delectable sauces for summer!
How about we get genuine for a second. At the point when it's late spring and you're flame broiling more and setting off to the rancher's market some of the time and getting talented things from neighbors plant enclosures or CSA boxes, some of the time "customary dinner prep" doesn't cut it. Once in a while what you truly need is only a decent sauce or two to get you as the week progressed – be it for plunging, showering, salading, spreading, or dunking with all your newly barbecued, simmered, or cleaved up summery stuff.
Ways I want to utilize this sauce:
Noodles
Rice Bowls
Flame broiled Chicken
Sauteed Tofu
Plate of mixed greens Dressing
Plunging Sauce
The Very Best Peanut Sauce! Smooth, shower capable, garlicky, and gingery with a decent fiery sesame kick. Ideal for noodles, servings of mixed greens, protein, or as a plunging sauce!
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup sesame oil (toasted or dark)
1/4 cup rice vinegar
2 tablespoons chili paste (sriracha works, too)
2 tablespoons sugar
a small knob of fresh ginger, peeled
a clove of fresh garlic, peeled
INSTRUCTIONS
Blend all the sauce ingredients together in a small blender or food processor until smooth and creamy.
Find everything in your house that can be dunked in this ridiculously good sauce and then get to work.
NOTES
VEGAN: No adaptations needed.
GLUTEN FREE: Use tamari or coconut aminos in place of soy sauce.
SUB FOR PB: You can use almond butter! It’s delicious.
FREEZABLE: Yes!
KEEPS IN THE FRIDGE: About 1 week.
CAN I SKIP THE SUGAR: Sure. I prefer it with sugar but you can skip it.
